NEWS:
I am currently working away on my self produced full album. which will be released sometime in the near future.
it will be my much anticipated solo project. although this is a solo project, it does not mean it's a solo performance.
the full band effect is heard here. i'm just playing everything.

4/12/04- rrr everyone keeps telling me to update this site, but there's not much new news...ok fine there is some, like
i said before there IS a new song, it's called "candelight"
and it's one for the ladies and lovers of things beautiful. whatever that means. it's a different kinda song, i don't
know what genre you would put it in. so it's on the soundclick page, and i submitted it into the genre 'unplugged' and
right now it's sitting at #12 on the charts, that's not bad considering it's not even a local chart, that's everybody, the
whole world*!!
(*that has access to the internet and has submitted songs into soundclick.com haha)
as for other interesting news, there's some record labels actually looking into the band and trying to make deals. this
may seem like big news, but at the moment i'm not interested. and i really have to research every label that offers
and see what they have to offer. so far i've not been super excited.
i'll continue to do things DIY until my full album is finished. then after that i might look into signing for distributing
reasons. cuz for the full album i want a booklet and everything included with the cd. and my printer can't afford that.
and my friend's printer won't be able to do that either.
bah....enough rambling for the moment.
there is a new website in the works. so tune in. you'll hear about it. it's almost done, i'm gonna put it up as soon
as my credit card arrives in the mail hehe.\
anyhoo, i hope that you're all happy i updated this, since it took away an hour from my exam studying time.

i've actually been playing some shows recently, i'm gonna put up a 'tour' or 'shows' page soon.
ok lets recap here, well earlier tonite
(sunday) i played an acoustic set for a charity at perth hall, on uwo campus.
earlier i was a part of buskerfestival (wed the 10th) and the night before (tue 9th) i played at The Wave. also i
played at
The Spoke a few weeks ago. i'm not sure of the exact date right now, i'll have to go back and check.
so that was my little tour of sort, but it's not over, it's just starting.
as for all the ppl that saw me at the show, please sign the guestbook and leave an email so i can contact you if

1/31/04-ok so i kinda had my unofficial first show last night. there were three bands playing at the ramada
inn for a private party, and i was in every band singing..playing guitar....or bass....and even drums.....(not at the same
time!!!)
anyhoo, the show went super great. couldn't have been better. there were somewhere between 50-70 ppl there. they
all seemed to have enjoyed themselves. hopefully got some new fans. sold out all the demos we brought.
if you were at that show, please leave a message in the guestbook. i don't think we got the names of all the people
that bought the cds. if you have the demo, sing in with your name and an email address.
for in the future there will be prizes given away to all the demo holders, but you have to have it registered
first.
(by registered i mean i know that you bought it.)
if you already had it you're already in the draw.
in other news....the pics are updated i got a few new ones on there, i hope you like them.
12/31/03-wow, it's been a year since this site started. what a ride
ok so the tab site now contains some sound links, you click on them, and it will download the mp3 file, then
it should play.
i find that the best way to learn a tab correctly is to have the actual song playing at the same time. i've only
done it for bass tabs and for 2 songs thus far. because that is the hardest to play(in my songs) and you can't hear it that
well.
i would've liked to have completed the bass section, but unfortunately i do not have a bass anymore, so i can't until
i get one.
they are songs, originals and covers, that have been lying around for no one to hear. i went thru the effort of making
them, so i decided to make them available to the public.
song update: 2 songs are currently in the mastering stages. and are completed minus the vocals. so once i get those
done, i'll put a sample on here.

12/16/03-exams are almost over and there are lots of plans in the air right now. i can't confirm anything until i
get started so stay posted for progress.
as for current news, a new song has been recorded and will be available on here in a few weeks
and another shipment of cd's has finally been made. so heres' your chance to finally get some for yourself

12/01/03- ok so if you haven't heard already, mp3.com is being bought over by CNET, and they're gonna destroy all
the archives.
check it out. it's pretty sad.

so that kinda sucks. but don't worry i've found a wicked alternative. and i've already replaced the old site. the
new site where you can download and listen to the songs is www.soundclick.com/mreman
the only negative attribute i would have to say is the lack of a london, ont, countdown. there are charts for music
genres, but it's just not the same. cuz i wanna see how much ass i'm kicking, hehe
speaking of which, the songs(walking, eptiome, indy) were respectively retired at #'s 9 , 16, and 35. not
a bad finish considering i haven't played a show yet and i don't even have a band!
anyhoo the cool new features of the new site. is that there are infinite uploads, so expect more material to be up there!
and when uploaded, the songs are immediately published. this is much better than mp3.com which took up to 4 weeks to get a
song up there. another cool feature is the enhanced mp3
i'll explain that later when i have something ready.

11/14/03-The sound section has finally been updated it. there are 2 NEW songs now. they are in the rough stages though.
but they're still cool nonetheless.
In other news, the demo sales have been good. sold out once again.
i finally got myself a copy of the RP100 and i'm loving it. so expect to hear some interesting music in the future.
closet monster played last night, they always put on a great show.
they have copies of my cd now. so we'll see what they have to say about it.

10/23/03- ok so the tab site is up and running.( www.geocities.com/mremantabs )there is a tab link in the navigation bar and that'll take you to an alternate site. i've tabbed out half the songs on the
demo. i'll put more up eventually. i'm also going to try to put sound files that correspond to the tab. just so
you can figure out the timing and rhythm and all that. so you can truly master it.
also there have been updates to the demo
the cover design has been slightly altered. well, just the logo mainly, and 'epitome' will be featured
on it as the extra song.

I am going to change the poll link to a 'tabs' link. so you people can learn the songs and play along
at home.

since i don't have a full band for when i play live, i'm going to need some assistance. and that's where you come

09/12/03-it's been a while, alright, lots of news around here:
i've updated the pics section, it has a few more pics of yours truly.
i've completed three full songs since my last log.
they are, in order, epitome, nothin, and professional krastinator.
Epitome can be heard on mp3.com/mr_eman, it's a hard edge yet melodic song. the drums turned out really nice and
the vocals are raspy so it's cool and it's got socio-political lyrics, so that's an added bonus.
Nothin is not available right now. it's a slow sad sounding song, i don't know if it can even be considered a rock
song, my vocals in it are the clearest yet, and the most challenging, trying to aquire all the right notes and working on
sustain. it was an interesting session.
-it has a false ending, music stops for about 20 secs, only to return with a Giant 40 sec solo, the difficulty of
the solo just keeps on increasing with time. i'll include it here soon enough
and lastly there's the professional krastintor
now, if you liked the walking song because of the lyrics, and how it was easy to relate to. then you'll love this
even more. if there's one thing that i do more than walking, it's preocrastinating.
the actual music is just amazing. it's sooo good. well maybe i like it too much. but you have to hear it to
see what i mean. it just flows so well, then as you can guess by now. there is a solo.
but this solo doesn't stand out as a lead, rather it compliments the slow part of the song, which lasts about 2 minutes.
that's right a 2 min solo.
as for other news, 2 days ago, i saw sum 41 play in london(for the umphteenth time) and i went on stage as usual, but
here's the kicker:
Dave actually got a hold of my demo. it's in his hands at this moment.
he seemed kinda excited to hear that i had a demo, and wasn't reluctant at all to accept it.
i just hopes he likes it as much as i do, which is kinda impossible.
i guess where that will lead will only be told by time. so we have to wait it out, and see what comes out of my demo
being in high places.
05/26/03-ok, so the wheel has finally started to roll, i've made more copies of the demo, so if you're a lucky one
you'll get a hold of me while i still have em. i'm gonna be making more soon, cuz these ones will not last for long. i got
half of them on hold for certain people. that's it for the demo right now.
as for other news:
- i'm gonna include lyrics on this site within the next few days,
- i have a show coming up at the embassy, the exact date is uncertain, but i'm guessing somewhere early june,

-and i also got an email from someone at the stonehenge who wants me to play there. if and when that
happens is all up in the air right now.
-i'm gonna start working on the full length album very soon
i already have about 10 songs in the rough works.

04/21/03-hooray, i have some good news with some unfortunate better news. firstly, the demo was done long ago and
i sold all the copies that i had in less than a week. but fear not i'll make more in due time.
and for the unfortunate tales. i posted earlier that i put up an mp3.com site up.
well, they seem to have some sort of a countdown there for the top alternative songs from london, ontario. (go to
www.mp3.com/mr_eman and click on more bands from london)
anyhoo, the songs that i added somehow managed to creep their way up the charts. a few days after i added the
walking song, it premeired at#15. and indy termination was not far behind. but currently, at the time of writing. the walking
song and indy termination are at #3 and #7 respectively.
this is indeed good news because the chart is composed of 100's of artists from london. ( i think it reaches
the 200 mark.) anyhoo the only folkes that were ahead this time, were kittie and off the mark, which are in my mind the biggest
bands to ever come from the forest city.
it's a great honour to be side by side and i would like to thank all of you that went there and took a listen or
two.
04/07/03-alright, it's been a month, wow. due to the fact that i didn't have any ready by the release date, no one
bought any copies. anyhoo, i finally have some copies ready for sale this week , in fact about 5-6 right now. if
you happen to run into me this week and have the $$$'s consider yourself lucky. as for the rest. they'll probably get
mass produced soon enough. but in the meantime you can hear a whole song on mp3!! at www.mp3.com/mr_eman

03/07/03-semi-finally! alrighty folks. due to the most hectic week i've ever endured during school i wasn't able
to get a hold of a printer. but have no fear cuz i'm fixing up my old one, i printed a test run and it looks aight.
one black cartridge is what stands between now and the finale. the official release date is 03/11/03
p.s. i made a commercial/concert calendar thingy for chrw 94.7fm today. listen in on saturday,
they'll play it ten times!.yay
03/01/03-ok, the demo is done!! at least the musical part of it. i just have to make the cover art for the
cd case and the cd. i have the designs, it's just a matter of me getting a hold of a nice printer. alright, here's
how it's going to work out. originally, i was gonna charge $10 for a copy, but since there are only 5 songs, i'm gonna
lower that to $8. hooray for you. but here's the special deal..how are you gonna get it you ask?, well you can give
me a shout and we'll meet up somewhere. if you pick it up from my house, then it'll cost you 7 bux. but if you want
me to personally deliver it. it'll be $10. so that'll discourage your lazy asses from staying at home. or
it gives me an excuse to go walking around town. (hence song#3)anyhoo, i'll have the final designs up here when i 'm done.

02/24/03-alright, the demo is finally in the process of being finished, probably by this week. i am working on the
cover art right now. 2 songs are completely done. i just have to polish up the vocals and re-master it. if
you have any suggestions for cover art, feel free to drop some in the guestbook.
01/31/03-ok, the demo hasn't made it anywhere since last time, but i've improved the look of the site. and added
a new song. worry rock. which is the only song i have actually finished yet. and it sounds amazing. at least i think so.
you can hear it in the sounds section in it's entirity. i don't know if i should included in the demo or not. give
me feedback in the guestbook about that and the quality of the song.
01/25/03-alright, this is obviously taking a lot longer than i thought, but that's a good thing, cuz i'm gonna go
all out, get a cd cover and everything, and perfect it to the max. i don't wanna risk releasing it too soon if it's
not good enough yet, in order for it to be listenable, i have to like it first before you like it.
